Interior design project for a house in the Plaça Francesc Macià
We carried out the design and the integral reform work of this house during the confinement, while its owners, who live in Switzerland, could not travel to follow the progress, so we took care of everything from here, and we held weekly virtual meetings to share all the information, with very good results.
The project consisted of adapting the space for a couple with two children who decided to change their place of residence and come to live in Barcelona. The house was completely redistributed so that it had two bedrooms, bathroom, toilet, laundry room, open kitchen and a large living room that could accommodate possible guests for several days from time to time. In addition, the house had to have as much storage capacity as possible and include wood as the main material for the furniture, flooring and decoration in general.
Finally, the light tones of the walls and some accessories, as well as the straight, geometric lines of the project, contributed to creating the calm, pleasant and functional atmosphere that was sought.
