The project of this hotel in Pla\u00e7a Catalunya was to increase the beauty and the comfort of the space, and besides that it had to be exploited its privileged location of the hotel and the outstanding views that can be enjoyed from the suites.<\/p>\n
The floor, the bath, the closets and the bathroom were kept original. New curtains and \u201cscreen foscurit\u201d with engine and remote control for all windows were proposed.<\/p>\n
Also, new faucets and lighting for the bath area, which would become more sculptural and with golden tones (more aligned with the overall aesthetic of the hotel). Near the bath, there could be a minibar too, in which the bottles would operate as an integrated decorative element.<\/p>\n
King bed (50 cm from the floor) with fixed tables and integrated into the bed\u00b4s head to facilitate a safe use, as well as an easy daily cleaning and maintenance for the hotel\u2019s staff. The wood was proposed, in the same color as the closet, and complemented with a soft bed head in powdery shade, with dimmable decorative lamps. An aesthetic between Nordic and Art D\u00e9co (to connect with the origin of the hotel and the Catalan modernist movement, so present and valued, in most of its historic buildings).<\/p>\n
The bedside cabinet, adjustable mirror, round rug and pouf, constitute the sleeping area with materials such as velvet and metal, in soft and golden shades, present in other areas of the hotel.<\/p>\n
