Need<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The brief was clear from the outset: it was not just a question of renovating the space, but of transforming it into an elegant, bright and fully functional environment.<\/p>\n

One of the key objectives was to facilitate mobility: access and circulation had to be comfortable for both people with shopping carts and those in wheelchairs. Every decision in the project, from layout to materials, was aimed at achieving this without compromising on design.<\/p>\n

Project challenges<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Achieving an accessible and comfortable entrance for people with reduced mobility required millimetric precision: a ramp with a slightly wider slope, comfortable turns and the absence of barriers. But it was also necessary to ensure that the space did not look institutional, but rather beautiful and welcoming.<\/p>\n

Another challenge was to make the space gain natural light. This implied working with light tones, reflective materials, strategic artificial lighting solutions and, occasionally, small interventions on the walls without compromising the original structure.<\/p>\n

Finally, beyond technical accessibility, the aim was for the space to be practical in everyday life: easy to clean, comfortable to use, with clear and unobstructed passageways. Functionality was not to feel like a concession to design, but part of the whole.<\/p>\n

Solution<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

From the outset, our design priorities were mobility and accessibility. We reduced slopes, widened passageways and selected non-slip materials to make the space more user-friendly. Every detail, from the height of the sockets to the arrangement of the furniture, was designed to be comfortable, elegant and functional without compromising on style. Clean lines, pleasant-to-the-touch wall coverings and elegant, unobtrusive solutions were employed.<\/p>\n

Light was a key consideration, so we worked with light tones and surfaces that reflect and multiply natural light, as well as well-thought-out artificial lighting. We distributed light sources in layers, using surface LEDs on the ceiling and indirect ambient lighting to ensure balanced warmth both day and night.<\/p>\n
