Interior design and comprehensive renovation project in Menorca
Retail renovation
Pipa Store Clothes & More was founded in the city of Maó (Menorca) with a very clear vision: to create a beautiful space where beautiful things happen. “We want to sell carefully curated, colorful clothing made from organic materials, as well as wellness items, accessories, books, and decorative prints. And everything will be inspired by our island: Menorca.” This was the idea that led Vicente and Sonia to embark on this adventure, knowing, after 20 years of experience in the retail sector, that if they followed their instincts, everything would turn out well.
The project began with a major challenge: building a complete and coherent identity. They had to find a name, develop the branding, define the brand concept, and translate it into the interior design of the space. Thus, Pipa Store was born, a name inspired by Pipo, their dog, who also became the star of the logo designed by Madeinbrain.
In terms of interior design, we approached the space from the perspective of the customer experience. We analyzed the customer flow, the ideal placement of each product category, the display window layout, and the lighting, always ensuring that the product took center stage and that the colors and textures stood out naturally. We also took into account the natural light of the location, Menorca’s seasonal characteristics, and the profiles of both regular customers and occasional visitors
The result is a bright, warm store that is deeply connected to the brand’s identity and the Mediterranean setting. Shades of sand, oyster, terracotta, and light gray create a serene backdrop against which the product comes to life. Yellow, present in details such as the logo, the storefront, the doormat, and the entrance to the fitting rooms, serves as the project’s unifying thread and adds a vibrant, recognizable touch.
Materials such as wood, cotton textiles, glazed stoneware, and microcement help create a natural atmosphere, where each element complements—rather than competes with—what truly matters: the product and the experience of those who enter the store.
