Decorating project for a young couple with 2 children.

“Although we intend to move in about 3 years, we want to redecorate our home to feel good in it during this time”. This is how we were asked to decorate this apartment in the Sants district for a young couple with 2 small children.

It was not a question of renovating any room, but to detect what was wrong in the living room, bedrooms, terraces, bathroom and passageways, to correct it with new furniture, having polished the wooden floor and cleaned the walls.

Although the project provided new furniture to help this family feel “at home”, existing elements were also preserved so that the result would be well adapted to the children’s daily life.

To this end, the parquet floor was restored and polished, the walls were repaired and painted in new tones, awnings were installed on the terraces and the children’s terrace was fitted out as an outdoor play area.

In the living room, a large bookshelf, a buffet cabinet with storage and a custom-made cabinet for the television were installed. We also proposed functional and decorative elements for the hall and the bathroom, as well as changing the door handles to give them a new look without having to change them.

With all this, the house gained comfort, order, versatility and functionality without any further intervention.
