Design and construction of office in Passeig de Gracia

The project consisted of creating an elegant, functional and flexible space for office use, making the most of the views of some of Barcelona’s most emblematic buildings.
With this objective in mind, we arranged the meeting room, the work room and the room for video games and relaxation in the rooms next to the façade with views of the terrace and the city, while the toilets, kitchen and storage areas were located near the building’s inner courtyard.
The terrace was of great importance in this project and therefore sun shading awnings were provided for the summer months and heaters for the winter months, making it possible to enjoy it all year round.
Inside, acoustic insulation and the creation of seating areas for coffee or relaxation were key to defining the project. To this end, an acoustic room was provided for talking on the phone, the sound absorption of the cladding was carefully considered, and several areas were set aside for informal meetings and video game areas.
The use of wood and dark tones contributed to the elegance of the spaces, while chairs and sofas were chosen for functionality and ergonomics. Finally, plants that adapt well to our climate, both outdoors and indoors, were used to create pleasant, biophilic workspaces.
