Design and construction (integral reform) of a house in Sant Gervasi.

The aim was to carry out the project and renovation work for a 90 m2 home in the Sant Gervasi district of Barcelona, for a family of 5 people. The challenge was to create a feeling of spaciousness by limiting ourselves to the available metres, taking into account all the storage and privacy needs for each of the inhabitants of the home.
To this end, the redistribution affected the master walls, so several shoring and other structural reinforcements were carried out in order to have a more diaphanous distribution and a loft capable of supporting weight throughout the dressing room and bathrooms area.
The kitchen was opened up to the living room, the bedrooms were organised as rationally as possible, a dressing room and a wardrobe was added in the hall for scooters and helmets, and the corridor was given natural light with a set of sliding doors that at the same time freed up space and created a visual rhythm.
The focus of this project was to create spacious and comfortable rooms, 2 bathrooms, an open kitchen and a living room optimised to the maximum and well lit. Also, in each room storage areas were thought of for the current and future needs of the family.
