Construction of a complete refurbishment of a house with terrace and patio. Project by the architect Gerard Puig Freixas, in Poble Nou, Barcelona.

The work consisted of the demolition of the entire partition and the construction of the new distribution to gain width and luminosity in a house of 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom for the whole family and a living room that included kitchen office with island.
In this refurbishment, great care was taken of the furniture and wooden counter-plated walls, as well as the materials used for the bathroom. The washbasins and dressing table were made of made-to-measure concrete, as was the lacquered iron structure that supports them. The coloured glasses, the lighting and the tone of the micro-cement of the walls were chosen to make this room pleasant, functional and aesthetic at the same time.
For the rest of the dwelling, white and birch wood were chosen as background colours which, together with the grey flooring, result in a peaceful ensemble that transmits both modernity and tranquillity, which is emphasised with indirect lighting.
